There are four United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Centers.

v     California Service Center

(Western States)

 

This USCIS Center accepts and processes certain applications and petitions from people residing in the following states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and the Territory of Guam.

 

 

v     Nebraska Service Center

(Northern States)

 

This USCIS Center accepts and processes certain applications and petitions from people residing in the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

 

The Nebraska Service Center also has jurisdiction over the INS offices in British Columbia, Calgary and Manitoba.

 

 

v     Texas Service Center

(Southern States)

This USCIS Center accepts and processes certain applications and petitions from people residing in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.

 

v     Vermont Service Center

(Eastern States)

 

This USCIS Center accepts and processes certain applications and petitions from people residing in the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Virgin Islands, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
