AN INTRODUCTION TO THE FIRM

subtlety of dual representation and abide by our client’s
business judgment.
Cyrus S Nallaseth, a dynamic lawyer,
who has more than 16 years of experience in the legal
and immigration field, heads our firm. He has graduated
from the Central Missouri State University with a
Master’s in Business Administration. He also
has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Bachelor’s
Degree in Economics from the University of Bombay.
He is admitted to practice in the State of New York
and the Eastern & Southern Federal District Courts,
as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Nallaseth is the President of the United States
Lawyer’s Association. He is a member of the
American Immigration Lawyer’s Association and
has served on the Labor Liaison and Eastern Service
Center Immigration committees. He writes widely on
immigration matters, and in the past has written a
regular column for India Monitor. He has also hosted
an immigration based television program in the U.S.
called You & the Law.
Rohit Turkhud is a partner at the
Law Offices of Cyrus S. Nallaseth, PLLC, New York,
NY. He has been specializing in the practice of the
US Immigration and Nationality Laws since 1985. After
graduating from the prestigious Sydenham College,
University of Mumbai, India, in Accounting and Economics;
he went on to study law at the equally prestigious
Government Law College, University of Mumbai. He was
awarded his Master of Law (LL.M.) degree from the
University of Pennsylvania's Law School, USA. In addition
to enjoying the benefits of a law partnership, Rohit
has worked for over 7 years in Senior Executive positions
at IT companies and headed their legal and international
recruiting divisions. He has authored a frequent immigration
law column for India Today's North American edition.
He is a member of the New York State Bar; the New
York County Lawyer's Association; and the American
Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Currently,
he is on AILA, New York Chapter's Department of Labor
Liaison, and the Corporate Practice Committees. On
alternate Thursdays, Rohit hosts a prime time live
immigration show on Jus Punjabi, a cable network channel.
Rohit remains committed to the quality practice of
the US Immigration and Nationality laws.
Shireen Sethna is an Advocate on
record with the Maharashtra Bar Council, India. She
completed her graduation from St. Xavier's College,
Mumbai, India majoring in Economics. Thereafter she
read Law at Selwyn College, Cambridge University,
UK. She had over 4 years of experience in corporate
law and was an Advocate Assistant with M/s Crawford
Bayley in Mumbai before focusing on this niche practice
of US Immigration law. She heads the Mumbai office
since its incorporation in August 2000.
